The incumbent will primarily be responsible for ensuring the accurate counting and recording of stock, which includes some of the following duties: Coordinating the bud stock wood block (establishment, counts, certification status, harvest); Bud wood management and budding process (block planning, traceability, quality control, orders, reconciliations); Rootstock management (estimations counts); Nursery stock management (managing counting teams, stock counts, grading/ certification); Allocation of orders, label printing, stock reconciliation, dispatch; Monthly growth curve measurements and other statistics; Plant improvement record keeping, registrations and reports; Virus testing sampling, GlobalGAP documentation; Staff management. The focus of the position is 80% administrative but a good understanding of production practices is needed.
