Civil Site supervisor The construction Site supervisor helps with acquisition of material and control, keeping track on the progress of the construction job and ensuring that it is completed in a correct manner. He should be in charge of all on site operations and ensuring the construction contract runs to schedule. Duties acting as the main technical person on a construction site, checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations; ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications; overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant; liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project; Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force. planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines; overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site; preparing reports as required; Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
