Civil Site supervisor The construction Site supervisor helps with acquisition of material and control, keeping track on the progress of the construction job and ensuring that it is completed in a correct manner. He should be in charge of all on site operations and ensuring the construction contract runs to schedule. Duties acting as the main technical person on a construction site, checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations; ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications; overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant; liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project; Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force. planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines; overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site; preparing reports as required; Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise. Qualification and Experience The candidate should have a minimum of 5- 8 years work experience in Earthworks, Re-inforcing, concrete, concrete surface beds, concrete shuttering and surveying. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Self motivated and client focused. Technical knowledge and show an understanding of terminology and development. Construction industry knowledge. Familiarity with Construction and principles of site supervision. Should be multitasked. Should also have excellent problem solving skills. Should be timely in nature.
