How to control anxiety?

We all have different reasons to be anxious: stress at work, personal and family problems, heath problems…However it’s important to try to control our anxiety naturally. We give you tips to control anxiety.

Exercise regularly. By practicing physical exercise you produce more serotonin, the substance that makes us feel better. Even just a daily walk can help you on make you feel better.

Try to organize your day to avoid stress. In case you continue feeling anxious you should consider to begin your day differently: for example with meditation, yoga, or acupuncture sessions.

Monitor breathing. It will reduce the reactions of your autonomic nervous system.

Avoid negative thoughts. Try to find the positive side of situations. Listen to music and read inspiring texts.

Eat well. Some ingredients can help you to reduce stress. Bananas and chocolate are for example rich in tryptophan, it helps you to feel relaxed. You can find it in capsules.

Drink tea. Chamomile, lemon balm and valerian have mild sedative and it helps you to control anxiety.
