CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR (EE) IN SOUTH AFRICA

SALARY: R to RCTC p/a   Requirements: Certified Internal Auditor certification or Chartered Accountant; Completed articles with an audit firm At least 8 - 10 years’ experience in Internal Auditing Experience in auditing projects CA(SA) or MBA   Responsibilities: Conduct internal audits in terms of the approved internal audit coverage plan; Effectively manage the internal audit activity to ensure it adds value to the organization; Establish risk-based plans to determine priorities for the IA consistent with the goals and objectives of the company; Maintain policies and procedures to guide the internal audit activity; Planning, co-ordinating the execution and reporting of audit outcomes; Develop and maintain a quality assurance and improvement program that covers all aspects of the internal audit activity. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of, and contribute to the improvement of the company’s Risk Management processes Assess and make appropriate recommendations for improving the governance processes
