WORKSHOP FOREMAN REF: IN SOUTH AFRICA

Maintenance Foreman needed to manage and co-ordinate an efficient maintenance function and ensure effective control of abnormal maintenance.   Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to: ·         Being responsible for condition of machinery – inspections, shut downs and budgeting. ·         Project management – new installations and modifications. ·         Repairs to plant and equipment to sound engineering standards. ·         Liaison with suppliers. ·         Managing subordinates. ·         Adhere to all safety procedures & policies and effective housekeeping. ·         Problem-solving and technical guidance. ·         Working under pressure, willing to work overtime. The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills: ·         Minimum NTC6 with Mechanical or Electrical Artisan accredited trade test certificate. ·         At least 5 years relevant experience in a maintenance environment (including budget control). ·         Experience in a high-speed production environment. ·         Communicate effectively on all levels. ·         Computer literate (MS Office – Excel and Word). ·         Dynamic, enthusiastic and energetic. ·         Innovative, analytical and pro active. ·         Good leadership abilities.   If you meet our requirements, please forward your CV via email ndc @ mweb.co.za or fax to .
