Position: Stores Controller / Junior Buyer  Type: Permanent  Location: Perseverance - Port Elizabeth   Requirements:  Grade 12  Pastel Experience  Stock Control Experience  Experience with parts and consumables would be advantageous  This is not a glamorous environment but would be best suited for a lady working with spare parts and consumables - a lot of the items would be of an automotive nature Salary range would be between 8k and 10k per month. A position is available for an Intermodal Controller with previous Logistics experience. Minimum qualification and experience: - Matric. - Logistics qualification advantageous. - 3 – 5 Years’ experience in a similar role. - Syspro experience advantageous. - Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite. Main Duties/Key Results Areas: - Mail clearing agents (CA) for feedback on deliveries. - Check / confirm with Cold Stores to establish whether previous day’s plans are in order. - Extract new dump from Dashboard for Delivery Report. - Action vast mails intermittently between tasks for various requests / problems. - Handle vast telephonic queries throughout the day. - Plan Cold Store deliveries. - Collate all delivery received from CA & build delivery report. - Query / resolve discrepancies / inaccuracies on delivery report. - Mail delivery report to organisation. - Raise cold store bookings for all planned & provisionally planned shipments & mail to the various cold stores. - Print all planned deliveries & update dashboard with delivery dates. - Extract current week & forthcoming weeks data & compare with existing data to find new shipments. - Advise clearing agents of new allocation. - Obtain authorisation from credit department for D&C loads - Extract D & C containers planned for the day. Contact cold stores & confirm delivery. - Amend cold stores & advise CA if necessary. - Update Syspro to Status 4 for shipments GRN’d on 901. - Send list to credit department for shipments in suspense. - Change to status 4 once suspended shipments have been lifted. - Mail CA for confirmed deliveries for the day. - Extract shipments confirmed delivered & mail all confirmed containers. - All and any other related duties as expected by the employer from time to time.

CREDITORS CONTROLLER The Creditors Controller is responsible for managing the recording, reconciliation and payment of Suppliers. The role is split between Head Office and Direct-Owned Stores. You would be required to maintain the following cycles: ·         Managing the recording, reconciliation and payment of Suppliers. o    Receiving Purchases in Micros. §  Managing the B2B integration between Vector and Micros once operational. o    Sending Invoices to AP in Micros. o    Capturing or integrating invoices between Micros and Great Plains. §  Managing the payables integration between Vector and Micros once robust. o    Reconciling Great Plains age analysis to supplier statements on a weekly basis. §  Maintaining the age analysis of all suppliers to reflect only current open invoices for payment on a weekly basis. o    Preparing payment requisitions on a weekly basis for supplier payments §  Include PO, Invoices, Statement and GL. §  Maintaining all payment remittances on file and reconciling statements to suppliers. General ·         Maintenance of orderly electronic filing and digital labelling of source documentation and records for rapid retrieval for audit trail purposes.   Initially the environment will be cross functional as all processes and procedures are to be developed and inculcated for the above.
