Manufacturing IT Systems Analyst – East London (24 month contract) Please note: 1. This position is a fixed term contract for 24 months 2. Completed tertiary qualification at NQF level 7 is essential (certificate to be submitted with CV) Requirements: · Matric certificate · Completed degree in Information Technology (NQF 7) · Minimum 2 years working experience (post-grad) as a Systems Analyst · Must be willing to work shifts if required Must be proficient in the following: · Linux, Storage, Networks, VWWare, Interfaces · Data modelling and database management systems – SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, · JAVA · Experience using Crystal Reports · DevOps (JIRA, GitHub, SonarCube, Jenkins) Outputs: · Responsible for designing solutions, failover designs, system sizing requirements · Manage software upgrades, deployments, downtime, patches etc. · Conduct testing after deployment or patches · Managing interfaces between applications · Provide technical support · Responsible for monitoring system performance and capacity planning · Develop reports (Crystal Reports) · Managing cross-functional programs and projects Salary negotiable, based on experience
