JOB TITLE: INSTRUCTORS IN THE FOLLOWING TRADES 1. Bricklaying Instructors (2), Electrical Instructors (6), Carpentry Instructors (3), Welding Instructor (2), Fitting Instructor (1), Instrumentation (1), Plumbing (4) JOB DESCRIPTION To develop appropriate training course materials in the relevant disciplines as per CETA requirements. Facilitate and train Apprentices/Trainees up to a Trade Test level. Brush up training for Apprentices/Trainees up to a Trade Test level. Develop the training facility – Assist, maintain, mentor and coach junior instructors. Develop the training facility – Assist, maintain, mentor and coach junior instructors. Making assessment decisions, giving positive and constructive feedback and completing any documentation (review assessment) Assist in development/design of Training Facilities for National Standard Ensure that log book have proper records of training and are signed weekly by the instructor Ensure that POES files is up to date Set up assessment material Perform any other tasks pertaining to training dedicated by superior. Minimum Requirements: - • Minimum Qualification N4 or equivalent. • Trade tested in the specific trade. • Minimum practical experience must be 3 years. • Preferable with practical Training and facilitating experience. • Assessor, Facilitator and Moderator will be added as an advantage.
