HOUSE PARENT / LIVE-IN CARETAKER IN ROBERTSON

BOSS is a care center and home in Bonnievale for young autistic men. We are looking for a person /couple, to act as live-in house parents and managers. It will be a hands-on position and experience or knowledge of autism would be preferred. Requirements: Afrikaans and English speaking; Non-smoker; Knowledge of Autism; A love for special / disabled people; Compassion, kindness, patience; Valid drivers license; Physically fit and healthy; Capable of managing a small staff component; Self-motivated; Excellent people skills; Cooking skills. Qualifications/Skills: Minimum matric certificate; Prior work experience and contactable references; Basic computer skills; Good written and verbal skills; Reliable, consistent work attendance is essential; No criminal record. Accommodation and meals are included in remuneration package.
