WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS MANAGER (CENTURION) IN SOUTH AFRICA

An established and rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor or slurry pumps and related spares in Sunderland Ridge requires the services of a suitably experienced supply chain professional to head up the warehouse and logistics function. Market related salary and strong personal and professional growth opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Heading up an eight-member Stores and Logistics team the successful applicant will plan, organize, lead and control the inbound, internal and outbound logistics function. You will set up and enforce appropriate policies, procedures and controls to establish a truly professional operation. The role will include inventory control, production WIP control, distribution planning, supplier liaison and detailed reporting at Manco and Exco level. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Commercial Qualification essential. 5 years hands on experience in similar role. Excellent Afrikaans and English communication skills.
