STORES SUPERVISOR IN SOUTH AFRICA

JOB DISCRIPTION – STORES SUPERVISOR.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;     1.             You are responsible for the receiving of all material/goods that have been ordered according to the prescribed procedures. 2.             You are responsible for the issuing of all material/goods that is required in the production process in the prescribed manner according to job tickets and on time. 3.             You are responsible for the storage of all raw materials and finished goods. 4.             You are responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment in the stores. 5.             You are to ensure that the store area is clean, neat and tidy at all times. 6.             You are responsible for all records pertaining to stock control, receiving of, issuing of and costing of  raw materials/goods. 7.             You are responsible for the discipline and motivation of all staff in the stores. 8.             This list is not all inclusive and you will be required to carry out tasks which will ensure the smooth flow of the Company’s operations.
