Ensure picking allocations are effectively allocated. Ensure all SLA orders are placed and picked accurately and timeously. Ensure the accuracy through checking/quality control of picked orders. Ensure the timeous and effective dispatch of processed orders. Control and accurate hand over of documentation. Ensure management of staff in the department, with regards to induction, training and development, performance and productivity, time keeping, health and safety and discipline and motivation. Ensure adherence and external audit processes. Consistently achieve the output levels required. Overall general maintenance and housekeeping. Management of budget and cost control. Management of stock tacking processes. Management and control of health, safety and environment of inbound logistics. People Management including: Managing the performance of subordinates and disciplinary actions as required. Operational management of employees. Ensuring continues improvement process within logistics to maximize performance. Updating of process and procedures. Preparation and presentation of reports to Executive Management on Logistics activities.   Minimum Working Experience Required: Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a logistics environment. Must have relevant Logistics qualification. Warehouse Management Systems (Red Prairie) would be an advantage. Must have knowledge of HR/IR.   Minimum Academic Qualification Or Competencies Required: Matric. Logistics Diploma/Degree.
