Millwright Client based in the Paarl Area is seeking a Qualified Millwright to join thein International Manufacturing Company. Requirements: • Grade 12 • N4 Technical Qualification and Millwright Trade Certificate • 5+ years in a Steel Maintenance Role in a manufacturing environment • PLC Experience will be an advantage • Strong experience on Compressors, Water treatment plants & Air handling units • Strong Electrical experience • Good planning & Organizing Skills • Good Decision & Communication Skills • Strong Fault Finding & Trouble shooting Skills • Experience on Heat Welding Equipment will be an advantage • Must be prepared to work shifts & respond to call outs • Good interactive & people Skills • Strong analytical & Technical Innovative skills • Strong Time Management skills Duties: • Ensure availability of spares through adherence to inventory management procedures, timely planning of activities and continuous condition monitoring. • Must be able to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures, to construct foundations for and to assemble, dismantle and overhaul machinery and equipment, using hand and power tools. • Ensure that associates and non-associates are trained and competent with the good operating practices of equipment. • Pre-plan and execute all maintenance activities according to preventative maintenance strategy. • Ensure integrity of safety equipment and compliance with safety procedures at all times in areas of responsibility. • Accurate and timely troubleshooting skills in all aspects of mechanical equipment including but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC logics and electrical circuits. • Must be able to assist with engineering projects, manage small maintenance projects and be able to lead a project where necessary. Ability to engineer small projects in fields of maintenance. • Comprehensive Knowledge of Operation & Flow of processing or packaging. • Be able to communicate outstanding or re-occurring issues to all (operations, maintenance, etc.) • Seek out Optimization opportunities for increase production tonnages. • Responsible to communicate & elevate any Quality & Safety concerns to management.
