FINNISH DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR (KNITWEAR FACTORY, BELLVILLE IN SOUTH AFRICA

Our client, a knitwear factory specialising in the fabrication of a particular clothing item, mainly for international export, wishes to permanently employ a Finishing Department Supervisor to join their dynamic team.   Responsibilities: ·         Monitor the production processes in the finishing department and direct efforts to make adjustments to the process to maintain quality and production standards and deadlines ·         Report shift performance results in accordance with company standards using assigned tools ·         Monitor, train and performance manage production personnel (approx. 20) ·         Effectively communicate with maintenance, other production shifts, quality control personnel, warehouse personnel and factory management. ·         Establish scheduling priorities, product changes, product quality and the resolution of personnel issue ·         Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment and the safety management of assigned employees ·         Openly and honestly communicate with all employees to build trust and effective teamwork ·         Encourage employee involvement in achieving shared objectives   Requirements: ·         Completed Matric ·         Min 2 years proven supervisor work experience in knitwear/ textile industry (or similar) ·         Proven team management experience ·         Demonstrated computer literacy ·         A people person with excellence interpersonal skills ·         Willingness to take responsibility and act responsible and tactful ·         Ability to work independently with an organizational structure ·         Discipline and dynamic characteristics and a strong personal drive ·         Constant overview over the situation and have a good eye for detail If you are interested and fulfil the requirements, please press [Apply] or alternatively upload your CV in English on our website under the relevant job you want to apply for. germanplacements’co’za/job-search/
