My Mission Cuddles Mission is to nurture the “whole child” in areas of physical, intellectual, emotional, social & spiritual development. This will be achieved through providing a variety of activities that are developmentally appropriate and recognizes the individual needs and differences of children. Through GOOD principle and teacher assisted & directed activities, children are encouraged to be independent thinkers & lifelong learners, learning in the comfort of a home away from home. Purpose Our Tri-Fold purpose is: • To provide a spiritual environment with leadership to help children grow and develop into mature individuals. • Create an environment where parents can feel comfortable and secure leaving their children knowing they will receive excellent care in their home away from home. • To provide opportunities for children to grow and develop through exploration and experimentation with various learning materials and activities that are stimulating, age appropriate and enhance spiritual, social, emotional, physical and intellectual development Philosophy • We believe a child’s early experiences enrich and stimulate future growth. Children deserve to be treated and respected as individuals in an environment that welcomes reason, exploration, question, and imagination. We respect each child’s need for love, security, acceptance, warmth, and stimulation Goals • While in my care your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities, which promote all aspects of development. Family childcare provides for children the comfort and experience of belonging to an extended family. I provide a home like setting; therefore I do not follow a strict routine. My approach to childcare is child centered and child directed. Children are offered choices whenever possible. Spiritual enrichment This is one of my passion teachings. YOur child will be exposed to the christian faith teaching. Educational institutes eg. schools are being forced to remove all faith teaching, this leave our little ones exposed to a school year without prayer and teaching. I know as parents we try to do our very best but TIME is our worst enemy. At Cuddles we will practice this teaching as part of the learning curriculum, both Toddlers and School going kidz. The Bible says: "Train up a child in the way he/she should go, when they grow older they will not depart from it".
