The theme of the Clanwilliam Flower Show (27th August to 5th September) is “Windows on the Biomes”, displaying the extraordinary species growing in our diverse area. For the duration of the show, there will be an art exhibition in one of the oldest churches of Clanwilliam, the St. Johns Church; and Die Kunshuis will be offering Botanical Art Classes. This year’s photo competition focuses on the flowers within the flower show. From 28th to 30th August a variety of stalls will sell food, local wines and hand-made rooibos soaps (the Cederberg district is aptly named the Rooibos capital of the world) or beautiful hand-made gifts to take home.
