CIVIL TECHNOLOGIST (CAPE TOWN) IN SOUTH AFRICA

A well-known engineering company seeks a Civil Technologist to join their team in Cape Town. Qualifications and experience:  The ideal candidate must have a B. Tech or BSc Civil Engineering. Be registered as a Professional Engineer/ Technologist. Have 5-8 years’ experience in general municipal services design (roads will be an advantage). Be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office packages. Be capable of functioning independently. Be self-driven with a capacity for continuous self-improvement. Have a driver’s license and own transport. Have the ability to multi-task. Responsibilities: Achieve project engineering and project management standards to meet or exceed industry best practice norms. Perform delegated project development, design, construction management and construction monitoring functions, or support function, as required. Support the Regional Divisional / Project Manager and the project team. Meet critical project deadlines during the design/construction phase.
