These position are based at Sunnyrock Germiston and report directly to the supervisor/manager.Target Group Suitably qualified candidates – preference will be given to employment equity targets. (Asian, Coloured and White males) - Job Specifications Minimum education level Grade 10 or equivalent however preference will be given to candidates with Grade 12 - Language requirement: English – additional language (Portuguese) an advantage - Basic computer skills an advantage - Must be energetic, hands on and self-driven and able to meet physical demands of the job - Certification to operate a forklift would be an advantage - Physical Demands: May be required to stand for long periods of time. May involve some repetitive motions. Must be able to lift up heavy objects. May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers. Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold - Main function of the role: Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labelling and sorting. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform related duties as required by supervisors or management. Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools. Measure, weigh, count products and materials.
