SENIOR FABRICATOR SOLID SURFACE FABRICATION IN SOUTH AFRICA

A factory in Epping, specialising in solid surface fabrication, requires a Senior Fabricator with bags of experience and an excellent track record to join their team.   The position requires hands-on fabrication both in the factory and on site – and the candidate must be able to manage a team as well as work with foremen, suppliers and clients on site.  Duties: Fabrication in Corian and other solid surface materials. The ability to complete a job from fabrication through to finishing and polishing The ability to complete a job on spec, on time and to the highest quality To assist in the management of teams on site to ensure all deadlines are met, and all work is of the highest standard Work closely (and successfully) with other sub-contractors and site foreman’s to ensure that our business is always respected and well-regarded on site.   Requirements: Driver’s Licence - excellent driver. Non-negotiable. Matric Excellent Fabrication skills, experience and track record Solid understanding of the building industry Strong site experience Attention to detail Ability to read & understand architectural drawings and plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – on all levels Sound logical thinking and ability to problem solve and trouble-shoot where necessary Must have a "can do" attitude Must be available to travel when necessary.
