QUALITY ASSURANCE / DISPATCH MANAGER IN SOUTH AFRICA

My client has a vacancy for a Quality Assurance / Dispatch Manager Manager to join their dynamic team.   Duties include the following, but not limited to: Quality assurance: Sampling of daily produced products to ensure they meet specifications Release for sale testing of large orders for our big retail customers Managing cleanliness  in factory – and managing the cleaning staff Dispatch manager: Manage two order pickers  who pack orders for smaller clients Manage all our outbound couriers such as arrange collections, shipment times, arrivals at our factory and loading Arrange delivery times for order to larger retailers Co-ordinate with  production planning to make sure orders are fulfilled on time Sign off on courier statements for payment by accounts (ie make sure all invoices are real, matched by PODs, etc) Keep inventory of stock at distributors   Requirements: Food safety management background, especially a HACCP environment QA experience also a big plus. Having experience in the QA side more important than the outbound logistics side, but must be willing to perform both roles   Salary: R - R per month, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
