The ability to converse in one of South African’s other 10 official languages and an international language would be advantageous. Previous HOTEL RECEPTION experience ESSENTIAL. Understanding the GDS & GGS and other systems used in the travel industry. Excellent organisational, communication and administrative skills are ESSENTIAL Own Transport essential. Basic accounting knowledge. Person of sober & honest habits. Contactable references are required. Prepared to take a Poly Graph test should the company require this to be done. The confidence to liaise with guests and colleagues alike. Good communication skills to find out exactly what your guests require. Personal charm on dealing with guests telephonically & face to face. Attention to detail on your work. A CAN-DO attitude.   We are looking for an individual who has a friendly and outgoing deposition while being thoroughly professional, as this is a front of house position and is the first point of contact when guests calls the hotel to enquire or check in.
