JOB TASKS: - Control and maintain all the shipments on the floor Make sure that all trip sheets and manifests are closed properly Double check inbound and outbound processes Check all possible misroutes Prepare an analysis report Interact with the Zone Controllers / Managers / Agents / Drivers and Customer Service Prepare miss collection and problem collection reports Daily planning Doing the floor check on a daily basis and attend to customer queries Ensure all deliveries and collections are done on time Responsible for all outbound freight Correct SOP’s need to be adhered too Receive and dispatch freight Open and close the branch Work over weekends when required Assist on routes when a courier is absent or on leave Ensure that vehicles go for their services on time Ensure vehicle licenses do not expiry Be available 24 seven 365 on company phone Key Requirements: Matric 2 Years’ Experience in the Courier Industry Valid Driver’s License Computer Literate; WORD / EXCEL Excellent Communication Skills {WRITTEN AND ORAL} Previous experience as a supervisor Desirable Requirements: Knowledge of Parcel Perfect

Job Purpose The Stock controller is responsible for all stock control functions at branch level. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Stock receiving 2. Process transfers between branches 3. Ensure all stock from storeroom to shop floor is written in the prescribed form 4. Binning of stock and tidying of bins 5. Storeroom must be kept tidy 6. Do regular stock checks 7. Assist with sales duties. You will have plumbing product knowledge and good selling, communication and people skills. You also will be self-disciplined, target driven and have good industry and competitor knowledge. Excellent admin and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to delegate and prioritise. This position reports to the Branch Manager. The working hours are Monday to Friday and two Saturdays a month. You will be responsible for: the control and monitoring of stock levels and control of redundant stock; the maintenance of the stock file and the preparation and management for stock take; the capturing of suppliers’ delivery notes; ensuring goods are offloaded, quality checked, received onto the system and allocated; ensuring that products are labelled, binned and coded correctly; documentation management; meeting targets and budgets; managing and co-ordinating the process of goods to be returned to supplier in accordance with company policy & procedures; generating perpetual stock counts, investigating shortages and losses of stock; assisting at sales trade counter and on floor helping clients.
