A special needs school in Benoni is seeking to fill a permanent post for a school-based therapist through the Department of Education.   Minimum requirements for position: ·         That the candidate has completed appropriate tertiary-level education and is a qualified occupational therapist. ·         That the candidate is registered with the OTASA. ·         To have sufficient training in assessing and providing appropriate interventions for any functional difficulties faced by children and adolescents.   Advantageous to application for position: ·         Work experience within a paediatric school. ·         A history of working with special needs children. ·         A strong understanding of developmental and functional challenges faced by adolescents and their families. ·         Bilingual fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
