Job Specification The Manager Engineering Services will be responsible for the efficient operation of all engineering support functions. The primary role is to manage the Instrumentation maintenance of all surface plants the maintenance on all electrical water infrastructure on surface managing all EI projects and running of 4 surface mechanical workshops by ensuring that objectives are met in a safe efficie No Desired Education... Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. Electrical Engineer’s Certificate of Competency (mine or works). Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams preferably in a workshop and support environment. Electrical engineering and energy related experience will be advantageous.   Responsibilities: Formulating, planning and executing maintenance strategies to assist with the delivery of the production plan. Managing project safety procedures and practices and develop all technical standards. Accountability for the comprehensive cost control and budgetary requirements. Management of equipment maintenance at the lowest possible cost without compromising quality and safety. Energy management across site and specifically management of identified Energy Leadership Projects. Developing coaching and/or mentoring future leaders within Engineering Services. Carrying the legal 2.13 responsibility for above areas. Implementing energy saving projects.  Intrinsic Qualities Administrative and engineering skills – attention to detail. Interpersonal skills – teamwork, integrity and tenacity. Excellent leadership qualities to provide direction, motivation and development of team members. Budgetary control.
