JUNIOR/INTERN CABLING AND NETWORKING TECHNICIAN FOR IT IN SOUTH AFRICA

Job Description: Junior / Intern technician with strong work ethic required Requirements Include: * Matric Certificate * Some experience in a job or study position * Ability to work neatly and accurately * Ability to carry ladder and work at heights as high as 20m * Ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time * Excellent customer service skills and work attitude * Basic Computer skills a plus This position will be required to perform the following tasks: Provide the commercial customer with the best possible installation, while maintaining all system specifications, and procedures. Operate vehicles, hand tools, power tools, climb ladders, operate signal level and volt meters, converters, cable locators, leakage detection devices, and test equipment. Completion of  all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Please be aware, working as a Cable & Internet Technician will require some long work hours, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.  You will be responsible for running network cable (CAT5/CAT6/CAT7) and Telephone cable with our commercial customers. You will be trained on Networking Infrastructure such as Managed and Unmanaged Switches and Firewalls.
