This "divination card" product includes a deck of 64 artfully illustrated cards, a 16 x 20" map, and a 104-page instructional book all packaged in an attractive, sturdy 5 x 7 7/8" gift box. Designed for spiritual guidance, meditation, healing, and empowerment, the pictures in the GaiaStar Codex are mesmerizing and renewing. Each image was created by taking a photograph of a natural element (a leaf or a feather, for example) and digitally rearranging and layering its shape, colors, and components. The introduction to the GaiaStar book explains the concept and creation of the Codex; the significance of each of the sixty-four images is discussed individually; and the book suggests several alternative ways to use the cards.
