FACTORY MANAGER HERMANUS IN SOUTH AFRICA

An Abalone farm needs a Factory manager with the following requirements: Required skills / knowledge / capabilities: Senior Certificate with relevant production / processing course. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory capacity at a food processing plant. Good communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in at least English. Training in General Health and Safety; HACCP / ISO and Supervisor Training. A valid driver’s license and own transport. Demonstrated Leadership skills of large work teams. Availability to work overtime within short notice. Mechanical aptitude would be advantageous. Contactable references are required. Responsibilities: The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Production Manager with the daily control in the factory environment as well as overseeing the day-to-day performance of the production team; to guide the team towards its goals; oversee productivity of all team members; and resolve any problems as they arise.
