Duties: Ensure that the lodge is recognised as an award-winning and world-leading lodge. Upholding the brand standards and overall operational standards. Ensuring an overall world-class guest experience. Collaborating with the lodge team. Anchoring the lodge while the Lodge Manager is not available. Assisting with all Health and Safety protocols. Assisting with the maintenance system. Assisting with team-related issues. Monitor, control, and record stock levels for all departments. Timeous support and communication with other departments across the business. Assist, if required, with central procurement / deliveries and invoicing. Daily administration. Hosting. Requirements: Grade 12 A formal qualification: Hospitality diploma | degree or similar. At least 5 years in a Lodge Anchor / Relief Manager role and / or Assistant Lodge Management role at a 5* property. Drivers license essential. Excellent command of the English language. Computer literate & technologically savvy. Basic accounting and/or bookkeeping skill (Xero experience to your advantage). Knowledge of reservation systems (Travelyst experience to your advantage). Excellent knowledge of Excel will be an advantage. Proven track record of successfully leading a large team (leading, motivating coaching etc). Excellent at building guest rapport. Excellent communicator. Proven track record of achieving results | goals. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to make quick but sound decisions. Emotional Intelligence.
