PHARMACIST KATHU (NORTHERN CAPE) IN SOUTH AFRICA

Our client a national retail group is seeking to employ a Pharmacist at one of their pharmacies in Kathu. Qualifications and experience: Degree in Pharmacy Registration with South African Pharmacy Council Previous experience as a Pharmacist Computer literate Be willing to move to Kathu (Northern Cape) Key Areas: Handling drug information requests Support the company’s vision and values Dispensing of prescriptions Assist/offer advice on the usage, side-effects, contra-indications and storage of medication Building customer loyalty Maintaining stock levels, orders, expired and damaged stock to ensure availability and minimize stock losses Responsible for record keeping, updating patient information and drug information Record keeping of scheduled medication, balancing of drug registers and Supervision of pharmacist assistants and interns Assist in stock take and preparation for stock take Maintain interpersonal relationships with doctors, co-workers, theatres and nursing staff Conduct drug utilization reviews or drug usage evaluation studies and quality assurance activities Regular consultations with physicians/ or other professionals Loading incidents and interventions onto IMS Active and committed participation on drugs, therapeutic and infection control committee If you meet the above criteria kindly forward us a detailed CV by email or Fax: 0866286310
