MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER – DURBANVILLE IN SOUTH AFRICA

Our client specialises in providing engineering solutions in the automotive industry. They are seeking to employ a Mechanical Design Engineer to be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the bill of materials of their product in order to meet customer requirements. This includes the design, development, verification, validation, production release and support of all components and subsystems. Qualification: National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (completed) Experience:  1-2 years’ experience in mechanical design (3D CAD.) Job Description • Evaluate task scope of work • Prepare and maintain bills of materials and their representative 3D assemblies • Product data management  • Create 3D parts and 2D part drawings to meet supplier and regulatory requirements • Liaise with overseas suppliers and customer on designs • Conduct concept and design reviews Please include a detailed CV, relevant certificates, ID in your application and forward to .
