LOOKING FOR CASHIER IN PORT ELIZABETH

Looking for an experience cashier, with at least three years experience in the Retail sector, preferable supermarket. Key function will include: · Register sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemising, and totalling customer purchases · Provide a positive customer experience with fair, friendly and courteous service · Items and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and non-taxable items · Operate a cash register · Verification of credit acceptance · Balance cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of work shift · Enter price changes by referring to price sheets and special sales bulletin · Bags purchases · Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures for safety, security and reporting ATTRIBUTES A mature, diligent and trustworthy person that can be trusted with cash and must have a good working knowledge of the Point-of Sale System. The person must be a team player, strict, pays attention to details and organised. FACILITY The facility is in the CBD in Port Elizabeth.
