DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER IN SOUTH AFRICA

A busy 4 star hotel is looking for a Deputy General Manager. Candidate must come from a 4 or 5 star back ground and be used to working with a large team of HOD's. The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee the overall operations and deputise in the General Manager’s absence. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager to join this exciting 4* contemporary hotel. Working closely with the General Manager the successful candidate will have the ability to lead by example with a strong focus on customer care, cost control, security and variable overheads and a hands on approach to training and development. He/she should have strong F&B/C&B experience, coupled with a proven track record of high standard delivery.  They will have excellent communication, leadership and people Management skills as well as the determination to excel in a challenging environment. Applicants must have the ability to work on their own initiative, and be strongly self motivated with the ability to make effective decisions. Several years experience as a senior Manager in a similar role is required for this position. Salary will be market related and depend on experience.
