Commis Chef – George My client from the Hospitality Industry is seeking a Commis Chef to join their team based in George. The successful candidate must have a passion for the industry with the ability to keep up with the high pace, and a sincere commitment to exceed expectations, Responsibilities: · Food Preparation – as per specific area, according to specified menus, standards and in line with costing and portions · Care of operating equipment – cleaning, repair, storage · Adherence to all health and safety requirements including utmost cleanliness, recycling, pest control and general waste management Requirements: · Minimum Grade 12 with 6 months formal chef’s training · At least 1 years working experience in a quality production kitchen · 4 or 5 star experience would be an advantage · The ideal candidate will be creative, have a keen eye for detail and must be able to work in a fast paced environment Interested and qualified candidates may forward CV’s to liesln@mpc.co.za Reference Number: LvN-CC
