Reporting to the Executive Officer, key performance areas include: • Reception & telephone • Administration / maintaining & up keeping of member database • Maintaining & up keeping of website • Debtors • Events and functions • Communication • Assisting Executive Officer Selection criteria include: • A genuine interest in the hospitality / tourism industry. • A self-motivated self-starter who works independently, without close supervision. • A strong character stimulated by the challenges of this multi-faceted portfolio. • Business minded with a sense of urgency. • Computer literate using MS Office packages and Internet. • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. • Strong administrative skills. • The ability to handle pressure effectively, meeting emergency demands well. • Very well spoken, excellent telephone etiquette and presentation skills.
