Numerous b&w illustrations by the author and Martin Johnson. Foreword by Margaret Percival Kummerfeldt. Originally published 1924 and 1928. The author writes of lions, lion hunting, leopards, cheetahs, hunting dogs, hyenas, elephants, rhinos, hippos, buffalo, giraffe, swine, zebra, photographing game, primates, waterbuck, wildebeest, jackals, crocodile, snakes, disease and drought, war and game, etc. In splendid condition.
