Tool & Die-maker Uitenhage (Uitenhage), Eastern Cape (South Africa) R Per Hour  Permanent skilled level position in the Manufacturing, Production & Trades (Automotive) industry. Benefits: 40 hours, Shift Allowance, medical, Provident, 13th cheque.              THE INCUMBENT WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING KEY ACTIVITIES:   Develop new Dies using DCS and GADAMP systems. Lay-out and cut new Die using CNC machine. Revise Dies in order to maintain and improve component contour, width, weight and quality of Extrudate. Ensure that NPI Die trials are scheduled and run for on time delivery. Ensure that Die revisions, Extruder recipe’s and contours are controlled and correct at Extruders as specified in SAP system Ensure that Extruder process checks (Shrinkage, Temp. profile, Line speed profile, etc) are done at the required frequency and documentation are properly filed   INDIVIDUAL COMPETENCIES MUST INCLUDE: Qualified Tool Maker (Alternate diploma in Engineering or polymers) Personal accountability, decisive and result driven team player able to communicate at all levels Innovative, flexible self starter with ability to work to stringent deadlines with minimum supervision. Ability to work shifts and cover on stand-by out of hours and some weekends Welding experience desirable CNC experience Computer literacy essential – Microsoft office suite essential.
