This book offers a clear introduction for students, dairy farmers and others in the dairy industry.  The text has been revised throughout and particular attention has been paid to current issues of management and profitability.  Ken Slater has largely retained the same structure as that first established by Ken Russell but has built on this to provide a wide-ranging, up-to-date text. This is a medium size hard cover book.  Slight surface scratching and faint rubbing on cover.  Name written in pen on first page and a couple of small brownish marks on a few pages. Light browning on thickness of pages.  Rest of book in very good condition, no notes or pencil markings.
