SENIOR DIESEL MECHANIC IN UMTATA

We are looking for a Senior Diesel Mechanic for a National Company in Umtata. Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience in a diesel mechanic post. Valid drivers’ license, preferably code EC with a PDP Trade tested in diesel mechanics, or an equivalent qualification and/or experienced (i.e. semi-skilled with vast experience or trade tested) Other Requirements and Abilities: Experience with FAW trucks highly advantageous Experience in the operation of a variety of tools, welding equipment, etc. Experience with auto electrical work advantageous Highly organised and self-motivated Supervise and assigns task to workshop staff Excellent physical health Ability to provide leadership and work direction to workshop staff. Ability to effectively manage time and administration related to job cards, etc Ability to execute job function with urgency, but ensuring that quality of work is not compromised.
