RIGGER / ROPESMAN MINING PROJECT IN SOUTH AFRICA

Tasks and Responsibilities: · Inspect, diagnose and perform trade related operations · Maintain lifting equipment, winder ropes and attachments · Perform rigging and heavy lifting work in all areas of the operation · General lifting and rigging of heavy equipment · Operation of mobile lifting machines · Inspection, maintenance and record keeping of all lifting equipment within Project Division · Identify spares requirements and order according to departmental procedure Minimum Requirements: · Valid Trade Test certificate for Rigger · Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Rigger · Valid drivers’ license (EB/08) Other Skills/Competencies: · Sound knowledge of relevant legislation · Sound knowledge of engineering principles · Safety conscious with rigid engineering knowledge on rigging equipment · Mobile crane licence would be an advantage · Working with people · Following instructions and procedures   Email cv to
