In this position you will have the roll of managing the panel beating, paint and assembling sections with full control over issuing jobs to your team measuring performance and meeting specific time frames. A trade test will be advantageous but knowledge and previous experience in managing a workshop is essential. The incumbent should have strong communication skills, be able to work under pressure, have with a valid drivers license and preferably be a non-smoker. The Workshop Manager / Mechanic will primarily be responsible for the management of the company’s workshop and the maintenance and servicing of the current fleet of trucks, Bell 225 loaders, LDV’s and other specialised forestry machinery.
