Qualifications Required:              The candidate should hold a tertiary qualification in metal working, preferably a qualification as An artisan, hydraulic fitter or similar.   Sales training or experience in the mining industry. Knowledge of underground working conditions especially in trackless mining environment.   Key Duties:                                         To maintain existing client base and turnover targets and to grow market share according to budgets and agreed targets.  Securing orders and building a sales pipeline in accordance with strategic objectives. Promoting the company’s existing products; namely the repair and maintenance of rock drills (drifters) as well as the supply of high precision engineered spare parts. Maintain regular face to face and telephonic contact with clients.  Ability to conduct underground surveys of drill rigs and conditions Problem solving with specific client needs when they arise Going underground to conduct drill rig audits   Skills & Core Competencies Required:                  Confident, well presented and able to work without supervision. Conducting sales interviews with passion and confidence. Face to Face exposure to customers on a daily basis. Prospecting skills coupled with cold calling ability to generate new clients Setting up appointments with qualified sales leads. Generate own sales leads and pursuing network opportunities. Ability to sell on a one to one or to a group in a boardroom environment Good telephone manner and speaking voice. Problem solving and analytical skills Sales administration and report writing for monthly sales department reviews.  Technical report writing skills and ability to offer training and skills development programs.
