According to the Children’s Institute more than 3 million children under the age of 17 experience hunger in South Africa. Stop Hunger Now SA aims to package 1 million nourishing meals for approximately 248 Early Child Development facilities nationwide for Mandela Day. Hyprop Foundation will be the anchor sponsor for the Cape Town event taking place at the Canal Walk Food Court. Each person packing will be feeding one child for an entire year and Stop Hunger Now is expecting corporate volunteers.
