Junior Leisure Sales Executive (Hospitality) - Stellenbosch / CAPE TOWN Property based in Stellenbosch winelands area is seeking to employ a Junior Leisure Sales Executive to join their ever growing team. The main responsibility will be (but not limited too) Promote Property to existing and prospective clients through a relationship-based approach. Showcase property products, experiences and service to maximise revenue opportunities and achieve business and organisational targets. Examples of duties & responsibilities: • Maintain relationships with current clients and build relationships with prospective clients – make contact, schedule meetings and presentations, evaluate business potential and arrange follow ups as necessary. • Oversee all contracts and renewal thereof • Attend trade exhibits and workshops, general sales calls/meetings and client presentations; host client product training. • Arrange and conduct site inspections – organise show rooms, lunch/dinner, accommodation • Arrange and host client lunches and dinners. • Put together client packages best suited to their needs. • Keep track of rates issued and all special offers made to client allocations • Keep abreast of market conditions, competitor activities, advertising and promotional trends and products. • Use operating and CRM systems effectively to improve efficiencies, maintain standards and deliver service excellence The successful candidate will ideally come from a hospitality background with completed relevant studies. Good day to you, I am ideally looking for a position directly in sales and/or Marketing for a Hotel Group or Corporate Company that will have an existing client base (key accounts), but would welcome any position relative to my 20 year + experience. I have a hospitality background and worked in hotels for many years. I started off on Reception (which included a very busy switchboard) and thereafter, I was employed as the groups and reservations Manager. I left hotels to open up my own guest house, but returned for a few months on request while renovations were being complete to assist in the Debtors Admin department. I had my guest house for approx 2 years and then it was sold after I got divorced. I most recently worked for a Fractional Exchange organization in Durban North. I was the reservations Manager for my department and I dealt directly with the Club's members who own Various high end properties locally (eg Zimbali Estate, Pinnacle Point, Pezula, Mjejane, Addo Afrique, Kichaka and Karma Resorts) along with affiliated clubs Internationally where exchange of stock would take place. I was responsible for Membership sales, stock control, exchange, points allocation, exchange invoicing and charges thereof and I liaised directly with all owners and affiliates including suppliers and staff. I was therefore hired for my etiquette and communication skills.   I am currently employed at one of the largest Vacation Companies in Southern Africa as a Leisure and Sales Consultant. On a personal note, I know the industry well, but more important than that, I am presentable, likeable and have a magnetic quality that cannot be put down on paper and I would be perfect for your position.
