MARKETING AND SALES PERSON IN SOUTH AFRICA

A Stellenbosch based, renewable energy company is seeking a person to fill the role of marketing and sales coordinator. Only top candidates need apply. Minimum requirements: -          South African citizen -          3 year Bachelor’s Degree - or National Diploma in marketing & sales or relevant field -          At least 2 years’ experience in marketing and sales -          Driver’s licence and own transport Personal skills and attributes: -          Fluent in English -          Presentable and professional -          Strong verbal and written communication skills -          High work ethic -          Willing and able to travel locally and to other African countries -          Work well within a team as well as independently -          Self-starter and a good all-rounder -          Resourceful, ambitious and proactive -          Honest, reliable and of sober habits -          Good networker and able to build relationships with clients Recommendations: -          Solar energy knowledge/experience -          Interest in technical matters -          Desire to contribute to a more sustainable world Duties and responsibilities -          Marketing and sales of solar resource measurements and assessment products and services -          Design and implementation of a marketing and sales plan for the company -          Identifying and organising participation in relevant exhibitions and conferences -          Organising speaking opportunities for the MD at exhibitions or conferences -          Organising exhibition booth and displays at conferences and events -          Manning exhibition booths and interacting with clients, building relationship and selling our services -          Promoting the company to exhibition organisers to obtain the best speaking slots and create brand awareness -          Sourcing and developing marketing material -          Maintaining of good communication and relationship with existing and prospective clients -          Liaising with company’s European partners -          Identifying tender and other business opportunities, assistance with the preparation of tender documents -          Maintaining the company’s website -          Public relations and brand awareness CV’s without the following will not be considered: -          Academic record -          Work experience -          At least three references Closing date: 05 January .
