HELPDESK ENGINEER IN PORT ELIZABETH

Our client in the IT industry, based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ an experienced Helpdesk Engineer. An awesome career opportunity awaits.   Requirements: Experience working with a Managed Service Provider or helpdesk environment. Proficient in supporting Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems. Microsoft/Office 365 Administration Experience. Basic Administration of Windows Server Operating Systems. Cyber Security Awareness. Have experience of Helpdesk ticketing systems. Networking experience, including Switching, Routing, Firewalls and Wireless technologies. Virtualization technologies. Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform. Citrix and Remote Desktop Services solutions. Datto and Commvault Backup Solutions. RMM Tools. Professional Industry standard certifications (MCP, CCNA, CCA-V etc.).   Duties and Responsibilities: Work as part of the Helpdesk support team to handle first line calls and tickets in line with agreed customer SLA’s. Recording of solutions to client issues through our helpdesk ticketing systems and knowledge base. Ensure customer systems documentation is updated to reflect any changes made as part of the day-to-day helpdesk operation. The candidate must be able to function as part of a team and use their own initiative where required to aid in timely resolutions to customer issues.   Please note should you not receive a response within two weeks of applying please consider your application unsuccessful.
