GENERAL ASSISTANT PRODUCTION EPPING IN SOUTH AFRICA

SA Metal Group is a large privately-owned metal recycling company with its headquarters in Cape Town and operations in the Western Cape and other regions. The Group has a position for a committed, hardworking and determined, General Assistant. RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:      Sorting of material     Ensure excellent housekeeping (clean work areas at all times).     Cleaning the work areas and machines on a daily basis.     Assisting Manager with Ad Hoc duties.     Other General Assistant duties     Be prepared to work overtime / weekends, public holidays and when required POSITION REQUIREMENTS:     Grade 10/Std 8     Ability to handle tools     Ability to understand and communicate in English (speak)     Knowledge of tools advantageous     Must be able to work alone and in a team     Must be willing and eager to learn     Must be honest & reliable     Hard-working and self–motivated individual     Willing to work over-time when required     Basic knowledge of Health and Safety rules     Ability to handle tools and work around heavy machinery This job is very labour intensive. Standard hours Monday – Thursday Friday Will be required to work overtime as per operational requirements. Salary R- R per week (depending on skills and experience)
