Frederikse uses press clippings, photographs,words and graphics to describe the South Africa of the time and the looming war. She postulated that South Africa was in the early stages of a civil war at the time. She sets out the narrative under 4 headings, nl: Resistance; Reform, Repression and The War. I found it very gripping and moving, even with hindsight 2 years later.
