Software Developer / Software Engineer Department: Medical Radiation Minimum Requirements: BSc degree in Computer Science Five years post-graduate experience in software development Experience in developing low-level software to interface with hardware components Proficiency in using the C/C++ programming languages Experience in developing software for Linux or Unix platforms Experience in the design and development of graphical user interfaces Skills & Attributes: Working knowledge of network communication protocols Experience or familiarity with real-time control systems Positive and professional attitude Analytical Attention to detail Good oral communication skills and good writing skills Ability to work independently and also as part of a team Ability to carry out a project to completion Ability to grasp and understand the client’s needs and to translate it into formal specifications.
