The Water Company Ultra Filtration System: This is not a Reverse Osmosis Purifier – but uses Ultra Filtration Technology Instead Ultrafiltration (UF) filtrates in the 0.01-micron range. The element comprises of hollow fibers of membrane material. UF is a type of membrane filtration in which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semipermeable membrane. It does not differ fundamentally from reverse osmosis, microfiltration or nanofiltration, except in terms of the size of the molecules it retains.
